506 E Main Street, Xenia Thrivent/HFHGC Ground Breaking

April 6th, 2009

On March 29, 2009 - we held the Thrivent sponsored Habitat house groundbreaking - very cold, very windy and very rainy.  With  encouraging words from RIck Perales, Greene County Commissioner and Habitat Advisory Board and Rev Tom Bernlohr of Peace Lutheran Church, Beavercreek and about 30 supporters in attendance, we had a very meaningful program and introduced our partner family - The Hulse’s. (photos supplied by Rev. Common Cup Dinner

April 12th, 2008

The Common Cup dinner sponsored by the local United Methodist churches was held last night in Xenia at the Faith Community Methodist church. There were over 200 persons attending the dinner. Dinner music was provided by the group “Four To Go.”

Following the dinner, there was a basket auction. The proceeds from the auction as well as the dinner are split this year between HFHGC and a student from Africa University the churches are sponsoring to come to the US.

An enjoyable and funny evening was had by all.
