SKIP WILSON MEMORIAL CHRISTIAN SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

Habitat for Humanity of Greene County is pleased to be the recipient of proceeds from the 2010 Skip Wilson Memorial Christian Softball Tournament.  It will be held at Rotary Park in Beavercreek, Ohio, over Labor Day weekend, September 4 – 5, 2010.  This is the 15th year for the tournament.  Habitat will receive income from the running of concession stands.  Also, Habitat helps to sponsor the event through corporation and business donations of product give-a-ways, event tickets or gift cards used for the raffle at the event.

Money raised from this tournament is used to build homes for families in Greene County who are in need of simple, decent, and affordable housing.  The families purchase the homes from Habitat through a no-profit, no-interest mortgage.

If you are interested in participating in this event, either as a volunteer or financial sponsor, please call Habitat for Humanity of Greene County at 937-374-8726.  If you will leave your name and phone number, your call will be returned.
